We continue to await word on whether or not the human remains found in Scurry County are those of Hailey Dunn, yet more human remains have been found in Sweetwater, in Nolan County. These remains are said to be skeletal only, and were found in a person's backyard.
Meanwhile investigators are closed-lipped about anything else that was found at the Scurry County location while speculation continues on whether or not these remains are, indeed, Hailey's.
Update: Skeletal remains were found up in a backyard in Sweetwater.
They were found in the 500 block of Locust.
The bones included a skull and a spinal column.
Police say they were buried under an 80-year-old shed.
The homeowner discovered them when he pulled up the flooring to replace it.
Right now, investigators are not sure whether the skeletal remains belong to an animal or a human.
We're told they will be sent off for forensic analysis once the police chief returns from Austin.
