This is Part Three of the analysis of the recent Facebook postings made by Billie Jean Dunn.
Hope for Hailey August 11, via mobile
Hello ago again hope for Hailey family, just want to let you know we appreciate your devotion to Hailey. With her birthday around the corner & the realization that she's gone still so recent,it's be hard to talk,I guess it's been a lot harder since the DNA match. Wanting to know what happend,
Note that she addresses them as "family" (see initial comments about need to belong, need to avoid being alone, and the heightened sense of guilt).
Note the use of the word "we", though she may be writing alone. This will be further explored below.
Note the word "still" in correlation to "so recent": This says that she just learned that it was Hailey only recently.
Why say this?
The NEED to say this, given all that is known about the case, is to persuade rather than to state plainly. It is unnecessary to say, making it very sensitive to the subject. The "family" knows it was "recent", and the blaring accusation is that the mother knew it from the very beginning. It is the mother's need, itself, to report this, that makes it so important to the analyst. She wants her readers to believe that it is new information to her. We do not contradict this: we simply ask:
Why the need to repeat the obvious?
This will make some of her followers wonder if she is truthful. It is how we give ourselves away in language.
Note the need to drive it home, even further with "DNA match."
This will also cause many to wonder if she knew, from the day the remains were found, that it was Hailey. Please note that analyst Kaaryn Gough made this conclusion from Billie Dunn's initial statements. She compared the statements from Dunn from March of 2013 to March 2012 when remains were found and the difference was so striking that Kaaryn concluded before the DNA results were announced, that it was Hailey, and that Billie Dunn has revealed this very fact.
(see prior analysis using Search function).
Note carefully the dropped pronoun here. Readers familiar with this case likely believe that the mother was present and perhaps a participant in Hailey's death, so the dropped pronoun would not come as a surprise to anyone.
The pronoun "I" is the easiest of them all, one that is not difficult for anyone to use and when it is dropped, the absence can speak volumes.
"Wanting to know" does not tell us who it is that wants to know what happened. She does not say, as a mother of a murdered child, "I want to know what happened!" or even the weakened "we want to know..." (note the plural in this entry). Please note that the word "we" would only be weak in context: if a mother is speaking for herself and the father, "we" is entirely appropriate, though we expect, given the nature of a mother-child relationship and the sensitivity of a murdered child, that "I" would enter the statement.
For examples, see two that will help your understanding:
1. Deborah Bradley, mother of Baby Lisa, was almost unable to use the pronoun "I", as she was indicated for guilty knowledge of the death of Baby Lisa.
2. Desiree Young, mother of missing 7 year old Kyron Horman, spoke for her family, yet was unable to NOT use the pronoun "I" as his plight was upfront and acutely painful for her, as an innocent mother, pleading for her son's return.
In both of these cases, we see how the guilt or innocence plays out in the language, particularly in the use of pronouns.
why,why there's not an arrest,
Any suspect would want to know what it is that police know, which is why suspects often input themselves into cases. Here, we see the sensitivity of "why why" there's not an arrest.
It must be very straining to wait each day wondering if this is the day a knock on the door will bring an arrest.
It is not only why why there is no arrest but more:
why I haven't got her remains back is all I think about, sometimes I need a little reassurance.
Law enforcement will not release remains to a suspect whenever it can be legally done. In Discovery, the reasons may become clear but it is important to know that the fact that it was not done to this date indicates willful reasoning on the part of those responsible for justice for Hailey.
When LE explains things,I understand a little better.
Note the word "when" and that only "a little better" as LE (Law Enforcement) says as little as possible, increasing the tension and frustration upon the named "Person of Interest" in her daughter's murder. "When" indicates time. It is not an ongoing thing of explanations, but limited to a specific time, which frustrates the subject.
To me,being mom,it seems they've had her long enough, but really it's not been long, many different departments continue to investigate daily.
Note the departure of the plural to the personal "me" as very significant.
When does it change? Answer: in the withholding of the remains.
Note the contrast: "they've had her long enough" is a complaint, yet "but it's not been long" now seeks to do something else:
"many different departments continue to investigate daily"
She is, again, attempting to show her followers that she is in the "know" about what is going on. Great questions to ask her about this statement include:
1. "Billie, you say "many" departments: how many?
2. Which ones?
3. What are they looking for?
4. Who do you talk to from each department?
5. Why so many departments?
6. Billie, you say "daily": why do you say "daily"?
7. How would you know the daily investigation?
8. Can you give me the name of anyone, from any department, who told you that it is being investigated "daily"?
There's a multitude of evidence to be processed.
this is a truthful statement.
Next, note the change from singular, back to the relative comfort of plurality:
We want to be 100% sure they have the baby killer, not 95%.
Who is "we" here?
What is the difference between 100% and 95%?
Note that "baby killer" is singular.
Note this statement with the one she made when she indicated that Hailey died from a sexual homicide at the hands of Shawn Adkins.
Is she now concerned that there may be a percentage of innocence in Shawn Adkins?
They get slowed down when ppl call in bogus tips, this continues to be a problem.
Please note that this statement is something that would appear to the average reader to be utterly made up.
Think about it: when searching, bogus tips are something that slows things down, which is why some investigations will announce to those claiming to have psychic powers to NOT call them.
But in this case, the remains have been found and have been identified. Dunn showed knowledge of this from the very beginning.
How could "bogus tips" slow down anything in this case.
Questions for Billie Dunn would be fascinating regarding just this short statement.
What tips?
What process is followed in bogus tips when the body has been found and identified?
What do these "bogus" tips look like?
Who is blamed in the "bogus tips"?
...and so on.
We do not have to wait long to find out what Billie Dunn is referring to:
They get slowed down when a "wack-o" calls in just to say " I seen Billie having icecream with her nephew". Yes.
This phone call would take all of 2 minutes of a secretary's time. It is not slowing down or impeding anything.
Billie Dun is concerned about those who are calling to report her behavior.
They also explained that ALL tips are investigated,if someone calls in a tip, demanding a call back after its looked into,if you're not related to Hailey, not needed for anything, they won't call you back.
This was explained when Hailey first went missing and is not in reference to forensic testing. This is a false statement that shows a need to persuade her followers that she is receiving information from the police.
She is not.
That is preventing them from following up other leads.
What leads are they not following up upon because they are checking to see if Billie had ice cream with a relative?
This insults the intelligence of her followers.
Note, however, that "other leads" would make a fascinating question posed to her.
They've also learned names of ppl who cry wolf.
Dunn is acutely aware that the public, by and large, believes that she was involved in her daughter's murder and is using the means of Facebook, likely against her attorney's advice, to influence a future juror pool.
This explains some people, not related to the case, not getting calls returned, very understandable. This is crucial to allow LE to do their jobs, they've been through the wringer as well,& some of these investigators have come to love Hailey & want justice just as much as the family. Thank you to all of the diligent men & women working day in,day out to bring my baby's murderer to justice, leaving no stone unturned & leaving no doubt when they take the bastard to trial.
note the need to explain lack of call backs. Note putting someone through the 'ringer' is negative, which is something Dunn has been doing since she failed her polygraph. She has ridiculed law enforcement publicly yet wishes to appear as if she is defending themm.

Hope for Hailey I have faith that all our answers are there, they just need put together & made presentable,in a clear manner, for a jury. If this killer(s) doesn't come forward before then, they should not get a chance for ANY type of plea. There's obviously no remorse, send them on to meet their maker. note the continued use of the plural pronouns.
note the continued use of the plural pronouns.
Hope for Hailey Holly,i think we're very close to charging someone with murder. I know I have to have faith in that, but from everything Im being told & from different departments, yes soon.
