Amanda Knox, who was held in Italian jail for four years in the stabbing death of her British roommate, will finally tell her side of the story.
Knox will speak with ABC News' Diane Sawyer in a primetime special on April 30th, at 10 p.m.
As a junior in college studying abroad in Italy, Knox was convicted of murdering her British roommate Meredith Kercher in 2009.
Kercher was found in the apartment she shared with her Italian boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito and Knox with more than 40 wounds and a deep gash in her throat in 2007. Italian police moved quickly to convict Knox, her boyfriend, and a drug dealer in what was described as a drug fueled sexual assault.
Prosecutors alleged that Knox's potential motives for the killing were a Satanic ritual, a sex game gone wrong, and a disagreement over chores.
However after spending years in Italian jail Knox was eventually cleared of the charges in 2011 after it was revealed that the police's scientific evidence against her was unreliable.
Knox is also releasing her book, "Waiting to Be Heard: A Memoir" on April 30th.
