Hailey Dunn was reported missing by her mother, Billie Jean Dunn, who was in a relationship with live in boyfriend, Shawn Adkins.
Adkins was known, initially, for his scary mask wearing.

In recent months, Dunn has attempted to convince her followers that she has broken up with Shawn Adkins, and, once again, suspects him in Hailey's death. This has been her story from the beginning, feigning to be working with police against Adkins, while meeting him at a motel. She was eventually arrested when she lied to police and said, "He's not here in my home" while he was hiding.
Hailey was subjected to this monster, by her mother's own invitation. After reporting to police that he was violent and threatening to kill, she moved him, and his mask into the home.
This picture stands as a lasting insult to the memory of Hailey.
Dr. Lillian Glass felt that Hailey was a rival to Billie Jean, for the affections and attention of Shawn Adkins.
