I am thrilled to announce that Avinoam Sapir, the father of all Statement Analysis in our country and internationally, has completed the SCAN (Scientific Content Analysis) of the Book of Genesis, from the Bible.
I will post the official announcement when it is ready, but I wanted fans of Statement Analysis to know about it as soon as it is released in English.
Having only done a small amount of work from the Bible, I have wondered, for years, what would be the conclusion of the world's top analyst if the principles were applied, in original language, using contextual Hebrew (ancient Hebrew).
Avinoam Sapir's courses have been taken by law enforcement from all aspects of our country as well as internationally.
Derivatives of his work are taught federally down to the local levels and are under a variety of names, including "Reid Institute", "Statement Analysis", "Discourse Analysis", "LIES" and so much more. Mark McClish, John Douglas, Kaaryn Gough, and others studied under him. SCAN is taught in many countries, and is something that takes not a lot of time to learn, but a great deal of time to become efficient in application.
The work of Avinoam Sapir is genius.
It is second to none. No matter how much I study, I am continuously impressed with his ability to "see" into a text, ask questions, and get to the truth. My own work here is but a shadow of what I have learned from him. At times I have read over a single sentence of analysis, in shock, at how deep the analysis has run. This continues to today, as I work in his ongoing live, interactive training. He is a craftsman who has no peer.
His work has been studied extensively and to have him apply it to the Book of Genesis, to religious, non-religious and scientific people, is something that will be highly anticipated. Critics will put it under a microscope in search for truth.
I have many questions that I am certain I share with many here:
What will Sapir conclude about authorship?
What of the claims of religious people that authorship is actually Divine?
Do errors or inconsistencies exist?
What happened just before Cain slew Abel, when they talked?
What of the record of giants?
What of the record of a world-wide flood?
What will the language reveal?
Is there deception in any portions?
Is something lost in translation?
What will it teach us about context? Since language is something that shifts over time, ("isn't that cool?" means temperature?), can we know what shifts have taken place from the context? Must we go outside context to other contemporary writings?
His work on Jonbenet Ramsey case is fascinating but his study on the word "child" (and "lad") in the Bible is amazing.
Interestingly enough, on January 1st of this new year, I began reading from Genesis chapter 1, reading a portion each day, with the lens of "SCAN" technique.
I am thrilled to make this announcement and know that all fans of Statement Analysis will want to learn of his findings.
I understand that the explanations in the book are done fully, so that readership will be able to quickly grasp the principles and concepts used.

This will be this year's most anticipated release for fans of Statement Analysis, as it should not only be read for those interested in Genesis, but due to the import of principle, for anyone interested in learning how to discern deception.
It may be an entire textbook on Statement Analysis, unto itself. I write this considering how, even in SCAN releases, how each case highlights principle, and to have it together in one large volume will be a treasure.

Perhaps the most interested will be the non-religious among us who question the notion of faith, especially in a world of pain and suffering. The honest questioning is something taken seriously and respectfully, as we, collectively, 'question' everything we read (or hear) from people. Why should Genesis be given an exception?
It should be quite a ride for us, and, I believe, an eye opening learning experience.
