We received a letter insisting we "cease and desist", but continued, as he spoke publicly. We agreed to cease and desist when he ceased from lying.
He resigned and since then has now come back to run for office, and as the public learns that his deception and perversity continued after his 'mea culpa' (minus the 'mea'), his poll numbers have increased. He 'repented' and sought help, and then continued with his ways.
New York media has gone silly with their non-doubling entendre headlines, yet one teacher had the courage to speak against him.
If those closest to you cannot trust you, how can you ask the public to trust you?
Teacher lectures Weiner over bad behavior
Boy, did she teach naughty boy Anthony Weiner a lesson!
In a public spanking, retired public-school teacher Peg Brunda refused to shake Anthony Weiner’s hand after telling him his pervy behavior made him unfit to be mayor.
“Had I conducted myself in the manner in which you conducted yourself, my job would have been gone,” the 30-year teaching veteran told Weiner during a visit to Superstorm Sandy-damaged homes on Staten Island.
“In the privacy of your home?” asked Weiner defensively.
Note that she did not ask him a direct question, but made a statement seeking response. He responded with a question. To whom is this addressed? To the teacher? To himself? The teacher responded:
“In the privacy of my home . . . I don’t quite understand how you would feel you would have the moral authority as the head administrator in this city to oversee employees when your standard of conduct is so much lower than the standard of conduct that’s expected of us.”

Weiner, surrounded by a horde of cameras and reporters responded, “Are you not voting for me?”
The lifelong Staten Islander shot back, “I would not vote for you sir, quite obviously.”
“I certainly understand that,” he came back. “But I want to let other people make the decision for themselves.”
Toward the end of their three-minute tête-à-tête — which got heated at times — Weiner said he was sticking it out in the race because of the things he cares about.
“I think you care about your ego more than anything else,” Brunda interjected.
Brunda later told The Post she had refused to shake lecherous Weiner’s hand because his behavior “skeeves me.”
